Do not use any lacquer thinner as it will damage the surface of your dashboard.

Repeat the cleaning process several times until all silicon is removed. To test whether the surface is ready for the next step, apply a strip of insulating tape. If tape sticks to the surface and makes a “ripping” sound when pulled off, proceed to the next step. If the tape peels off without resistance, repeat the cleaning procedure.

Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol. Avoid applying alcohol to any clear plastic surfaces including gauges, clocks, radios or warning lights. The surface where your new dash kit will be installed must be clean of dirt, wax, silicon, grease etc. Otherwise kit pieces may not adhere properly. Repeat tape test until you are satisfied with result.

STEP 2: Dry fitting

Make sure that all pieces fit designed place without removing the backing from the part. Hold the piece where it is supposed to be installed and make sure that all buttons and switches are accessible and move freely. If any component doesn’t fit its place, contact your store's customer support as soon as possible.

STEP 3: Installation

Nost of the components that install on flat or horizontal surfaces can be installed with the adhesive, that is already applied at the part by the manufacturer. However, installation of narrow components, corners, pieces that are installed on vertical surfaces require an adhesive promoter.

Start with the pieces that can be installed without adhesive promoter. Peel off the backing to expose the adhesive. Place the component to its place and press down lightly with your fingers. If the component is installed properly, apply pressure using a soft clean cloth. Proceed with pieces that can be installed without using adhesive promoter.

Big 2D components should be installed from side-to-side or top-to-bottom. Finally, use hair dryer to warm each piece and re-apply pressure.

STEP 4: Installing 2D pieces

Define the order of installation for the remaining 2D components.

Start applying adhesive promoter to such areas, as corners, around air vents, narrow areas, vertical and down facing surfaces. After 5 minutes start applying first pieces in the order you've determined before. Once you are satisfied with the placement of a component, apply pressure to the entire part surface using a soft cloth. Try to complete installation within 20 minutes.

STEP 5: Installing 3D pieces

Make sure, that 3D pieces of your dash kit are undemaged. Then carefully peel off the backing from all 3D component and place them face down to the soft surface. Mist the trim piece adhesive surfaces with the "dash spray" supplied with the dash kit. Place each 3D part to its position. Gently press down.
